Question of the day
Which book changed something in the way you live your daily life — not just think about it?
In Praise of Slowness by Carl Honoré. I read it on a delayed train and felt this strange gratitude for the delay.
The Untethered Soul. Not explicitly about slowness but it taught me to stop running from the present moment.
Four Thousand Weeks by Oliver Burkeman. It made me give up on getting everything done — and weirdly that was a relief.
Anything by Annie Dillard. She notices things I walk past every day. After her I started actually looking.
